He is the founder of K9 Time, a trusted, one-to-one dog walking and pet sitting service based in Sheffield, UK. He is passionate about holistic pet care, positive reinforcement, and helping anxious dogs thrive. A professional dog walker and author, Derek Collinson has shared his life with 6 dogs, 7 cats, 2 horses and 2 Shetland ponies.  For 25 years he has practised Reiki, using it to treat pets and people. And as a Reiki Master he is qualified to carry out Reiki 1, 2 and Master attunements. In 2006 Derek created the first dating site in the world for people who love dogs.
